Botswana international Segolame Boy has resumed training ahead of Township Rollers’ encounter with Al Ahly.

The Blues are scheduled to host Egyptian Premier League champions Al Ahly in the 2018 CAF Champions League Group A game in Gaborone on Saturday.

Rollers, who won last season’s Botswana Premier League (BPL) title, have been without their star attacking midfielder, Boy.

The 25-year-old left-footed attacker sustained a knee injury which kept him out for almost a month.

Rollers released the following statement regarding the player:

“From the Physio Room - Segolame Boy injury update Boy had sustained a knee injury last month on the 13 June 2018 and ultrasound scan results revealed a grade 2 partial tear of posterior knee ligament ruling him out for 4 weeks.”

“This week he recovered with the injury and is undergoing physio treatment with rehabilitation with our fitness team.

“Boy is scheduled for resuming training with the team on the field from Monday,” a club statement read.
