Extension Gunners head coach Enosi Mmesi was left to rue his side's defending against Mochudi Centre Chiefs.
Mapantsola A Peleng played to a 3-3 draw with Magosi on match day one of the new 2018/19 BTC Premiership season over the weekend.
Gunners striker Kenanao Kgetholetsile grabbed a hat-trick, while Unobatshi Mbaiwa (brace) and Bakang Leshona netted for Chiefs.
“The boys took the foot of the paddle and they allowed Chiefs to get back into the game," Mmesi told local media.
"We were little bit sloppy on the right side of the defence. We allowed them to penetrate and get two goals.
“I would say the last element is that the fitness level is not up to scratch and we just assembled the team.”
Gunners are scheduled to face BR Highlands in a league game at the Lobatse Sports Complex on Saturday.
