Township Rollers caretaker coach Thabo Motang was happy with his charges' performance against Black Forest on Wednesday night.
The Blues opened their 2018/19 BTC Premiership campaign with a 4-1 win over Black Forest at the Molepolole Sports Complex.
Joel Mogorosi (brace) and Tumisang Orebonye (brace) netted for Rollers, while Donald Botshoma scored for Forest.
“I am happy with the win, especially the response to conceding the equaliser to Forest so early in the second half," Motang told the club's official website.
"I want to thank the players, the technical team, management, the supporters and the head coach Nikola Kavazovic because throughout this time we have been working with him.
"In the first half we dominated, but Forest caught us off guard with that goal just after the break," he continued.
"At that point we had two holding midfielders; we decided to sacrifice one, Mosha Gaolaolwe to give the team more attacking shape.
"Thankfully we managed to get the goals to secure the lead, and I thank the boys for their effort on the field of play."
Rollers, who are the defending champions, will take on Jwaneng Galaxy in their second league game of the season on Saturday, 1 September 2018.
